Welcome to Yutu. By downloading or using the Yutu application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Account holders must be 18 years of age or older. Caregivers may add family members of any age to their garden. By accessing or using Yutu, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Yutu is a family medication management application that helps users track medication schedules, set reminders, and coordinate care among family members. Yutu is provided "as is" and is intended as a medication organization aid only.

Important: Yutu is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider for any medical conditions or medication questions.

3. User Accounts

To use Yutu you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Providing accurate and complete registration information.

4. Family Gardens and Caregiver Responsibilities

When you create or join a family garden, you agree that:

• You have obtained consent from all family members you invite to share their medication data.
• As a caregiver, you take responsibility for the accuracy of medication information you enter for others.
• You will not use Yutu to manage medications for individuals without their knowledge or consent.
• You understand that Yutu reminders are aids, not guarantees — verify critical medication schedules with healthcare providers.
• While caregivers may add family members of any age, the account holder (caregiver) must be 18 or older.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
• Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users.
• Use the Service to store or transmit sensitive information beyond what is necessary for medication management.

6. Subscription and Payments

Yutu offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription:

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds for partial periods.
• Prices may change with reasonable advance notice.
• All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play — their respective payment terms apply.

7. Medical Disclaimer

Yutu does not provide medical advice. The application is a tool to help organize and remember medication schedules. It does not:

• Verify the correctness of any medication information you enter.
• Guarantee delivery of any notification or reminder.
• Replace the judgment of licensed medical professionals.
• Monitor for drug interactions or contraindications.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical care because of information in Yutu.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, characters, and functionality of Yutu are the exclusive property of Yutu and its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Yutu at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time from within the app settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yutu and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any missed medication reminders or errors in medication records.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Yutu after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Yutu is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
