Yutu ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users and their families. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Yutu mobile application.

- Health information: Medication names, schedules, dosage, and adherence logs you choose to enter.
- Family data: Information about family members you invite to your garden (their name, character choice, and medications).
- Device information: Push notification token for sending medication reminders, device OS type.
- Usage data: App activity logs for debugging and improving the service (no personally identifiable information).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Yutu application and its features.
- Send medication reminders and push notifications at your requested times.
- Allow caregivers to monitor and manage family members' medication adherence.
- Sync your data securely across devices and with family members.
- Improve the app through aggregate, anonymized usage analytics.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important service updates.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- With family members: Data you share within a family garden is visible to the garden's caregiver(s) and invited members as intended by the app's functionality.
- Service providers: We use trusted third-party services (hosting, push notifications) that process data only on our behalf and under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. Sensitive data such as access tokens are stored in encrypted device storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.
5. Health Data
We understand that medication and health data is sensitive. We treat all health-related information with the highest level of care. This data is:
- Never sold to advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties.
- Never used for advertising profiling or marketing purposes.
- Only shared with the family members you explicitly invite to your garden.
6. Age Requirement
Account holders must be 18 years of age or older. Caregivers may add family members of any age to their garden. We do not knowingly create accounts for individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at support@getyutu.com and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Export your data in a portable format.

8. Data Retention
